This video interview with STRIVE’s Chief Executive Lori Heise was recorded in 2013 at an event hosted by the Department for International Development (UK Aid). It is part of a series of online talks produced by the Health and Education Advice and Resource Team (HEART).
Heise describes some of STRIVE’s work with partners from India, Tanzania and South Africa. She explains how tackling the structural drivers of HIV can help people to make healthier choices, intervening 'upstream' to create the kind of environment that reduces people’s vulnerability to HIV.
The HEART website features a selection of STRIVE and other resources on public health and HIV.
