STRIVE partners in India hosted a team from the London School for meetings and site visits. After hosting a presentation on violence research by Lori Heise at their Bangalore offices, the Karnataka Health Promotion Trust (KHPT) took visitors from London and Delhi to rural Karnataka to meet with sex-worker CBOs and adolescent girls in life-skills classes. The group then travelled to Mumbai to meet teams working with the International Centre for Research on Women (Asia Regional office) on sports-based gender coaching for boys and a school-based gender equality programme. In the slum area of Shrivaji Nagar, STRIVE visited the clinic base of a RISHTA programme (Research and Intervention in Sexual Health: Theory to Action).
