STRIVE partners, the National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR) and the Mwanza Intervention Trials Unit (MITU), hosted the consortium's first face-to-face governance meeting in Mwanza. A number of collaborations, seeded here, have gone on to flourish. The group had the opportunity to visit projects in the area around Mwanza, where NIMR and MITU have conducted longitudinal studies for over two decades.
