London symposium to launch The Lancet VAWG series

A symposium at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine on 21 November 2014 launched The Lancet's special series on the state of knowledge about violence against women and girls (VAWG).

Five presenters introduced their papers and Richard Horton, Editor-in-Chief of The Lancet, chaired the panel and made a commitment to challenge this crucial health factor.
