HIV This Month

A monthly compendium from UNAIDS provides relevant, scientific information and useful papers. It is freely available online and worth signing up for. A paper by STRIVE researcher Nambusi Kyegombe was selected to feature in the December 2014 issue of HIV This Month.

Kyegombe’s paper – Addressing gender inequality through a community mobilisation programme – examines the impact of SASA!, a community mobilization intervention, on reported HIV-related risk behaviours and relationship dynamics in Kampala, Uganda.

In addition to HIV This Month, UNAIDS Science Now:

  • provides a platform for discussions on HIV science and current journal publications
  • supports UNAIDS Geneva and field staff
  • offers national AIDS offices, research institutions and university students a single portal for information on HIV science
