To celebrate AIDS 2012, the international AIDS community’s major conference in Washington, DC later this month, a special issue of AIDS & Behaviour is available to access for free until the end of July.

The supplement includes a paper written by STRIVE-associated researcher Abigail Hatcher with colleagues in the US and Kenya, on the structural issues affecting linkage to HIV care in Kenya. The research found that social barriers such as stigma and partner violence were salient factors in newly-diagnosed individuals’ engagement in HIV care and treatment.
