AIDS 2012: Pushing Forward with Structural Interventions

25 July 2012
Alexandra Hyde

A key event tomorrow at AIDS 2012 will discuss the parameters of structural prevention interventions, identify barriers to implementation and measurement, and discuss the future of work in this field.

The satellite session, organised by AIDSTAR-One with USAID and JSI, will address the lack of specific practical and implementable tools and guidance for structural programming. It includes papers by two STRIVE researchers - James Hargreaves on key concepts and issues for operationalizing structural programming, and Katherine Fritz on field insights from Namibia.

The session runs from 18:30 to 20:30 on Thursday 26 July in Mini Room 3.
